HOLLYWOOD—Ronn Moss is one of the four original cast members from the wonderful TV soap “The Bold and the Beautiful.” This week he managed to create yet another side and layer to his popular character of Ridge Forrester. Moss is both boldly handsome and beautifully talented. He’s never let his fans down in the role, and this week he played several emotions, from hysteria, anger and grief, to forgiveness. This is what makes Ronn our choice this week for the leading man gold standard, an award he’s received before.

Ronn Moss’s Ridge started the week out in shock that his wife Brooke’s adulterous affair with her teenage daughter’s boyfriend, Oliver, would become public during a Forrester Creations press conference. Ridge was mortified, and wrongly blamed his daughter Steffy for the exposure of Brooke. In the past several months, Steffy has wreaked havoc on the Logans, but this time she’s totally innocent of the charges. Brooke’s sister, Donna’s boyfriend, Justin, was behind the shocking revelation of her tryst during her youngest daughter’s graduation party. Ridge refused to believe his daughter and then found himself standing up for his sleazy wife to his mother and ex-wife, both of whom believe they are superior in character to his current wife, Brooke.

Ridge was heartbroken that he had to fire his daughter from her PR position at the company. Then he faced off with mom, Queen Stephanie, and ordered her to stay away from Brooke. Everyone knows warning Stephanie is a mistake. She made a beeline to her daughter-in-law and found her crying in the showroom, then reamed her for her narcissistic whorish behavior.

Ronn Moss was most outstanding in the extraordinarily written and photographed scenes high above the city, at the skyline that is home to the Hollywood sign. Brooke was devastated and had visions of her daughter’s childhood. Knowing that she has forever changed the mother/daughter dynamic, Brooke found her knight in shining armor, Ridge, with open arms ready to forgive her for yet another indiscretion. Then Ridge found himself asking for help from nemesis and brother-in-law, Bill Spencer, to help squelch and control the oncoming scandal the family and company is gearing up for.

Ronn Moss gave an extraordinary performance, and he never lets his fans or the “B&B” viewers down. “B&B” airs weekdays on CBS.
