SHERMAN OAKS—On Tuesday, October 5, Lisa Rinna and husband Harry Hamlin discovered via live TV while on the “Today Show” in New York City that their clothing boutique Belle Gray had been robbed.

The robbery at the boutique located at 13812 Ventura Blvd., which specializes in women’s clothing and accessories, was reported to police at around 6:20 in the morning, when store manager Rona Argana came to open the shop.

In total around 80 to 100 pieces were taken from the shop, according to Argana.

Security company ADT tried to call Hamlin and Rinna multiple times after Belle Gray’s alarms went off at 6:22 a.m.; however, the news was not announced live on TV until an hour later. Apparently, neither Rinna nor Hamlin picked up the calls from the security company.

Rinna, best known for her work on “Days of Our Lives” and “Melrose Place” and more recently “Dancing with the Stars,” spoke out against those who accused her of staging the robbery to gain publicity. She stated on her twitter account, “For the record We DID NOT ‘stage a burglary’ at our store belle gray to promote our show! Shame on whoever thinks that!”

The couple has been busy promoting their new books as well as TV show “Harry Loves Lisa.”
