BEVERLY HILLS—Madonna’s French-Country style estate on Sunset Boulevard, which she once shared with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, is back on the market for $27.995 million after undergoing extensive remodeling.

The couple bought the home when they got married in 2003 and listed it for sale at $28 million in 2012 soon after their divorce.

The seven-time Grammy winner and “Material Girl” lived on the 1.14-acre-estate with Ritchie for nearly a decade, before selling it in 2013 for $19.5 million.

The 5,800-square-foot home features nine bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, two living/reception rooms, a two-story dining room, a junior dining room, a large kitchen breakfast room/den, a full-size screening room/theatre, two offices, assistants’ office, a gym and staff rooms.

The exterior of the mansion boasts two guest houses, tennis courts and a resort-size swimming pool all propped at the top of a 500-foot driveway.

Madonna, who is also a philanthropist, businesswoman and author, was previously married to actor Sean Penn. Ritchie got remarried last week to Jacqui Ainsley. Madonna is currently single, and is the mother of four children: Lourdes Maria, Rocco Ritchie, David Banda and Mercy James.

She is also known as the “Queen of Pop.” Since the 80s, she has pushed the boundaries for women in the music industry with her wardrobe, body and lyrics. Fellow acclaimed artists have praised Madonna for being the initial spark that ignited the women-power movement in entertainment.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Madonna is the best-selling female rock artist of the 20th century and is currently the second best-selling female artist in the United States with 64.5 billion albums.

Madonna’s latest ventures include a dabbling into comedy with a debut on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last April.

The artist’s late estate is listed for sale by Kurt Rappaport and Drew Meyers of Westside Estate Agency.
