BEVERLY HILLS—The Beverly Hills City Council announced on Tuesday, December 9 that they will appoint Assistant City Manager Mahdi Aluzri as the interim City Manager with the retirement of City Manager Jeffrey Kolin.
Kolin will end his five-year contract on January 31, 2015. Aluzri has served as the assistant city manager since 2009.
Beverly Hills Mayor Lili Bosse announced during the meeting that an ad hoc committee that will include Vice Mayor Julian Gold and Councilmember William W. Brien will ask a professional executive recruiting firm to help find a placement for Mr. Kolin.
It’s expected that the committee will have its recommendation for the recruitment process in January 2015.
