MALIBU—On September 20, the Malibu Playhouse will be hosting a house party for the community.
According to the Malibu Playhouse mission statement, the “Malibu Playhouse strips down and re-imagines well-known plays and musicals to entertain and engage audiences in Malibu and neighboring communities.”
The party is free to attend and will consist of free entertainment, refreshments and a sneak peak at the entertainment they will be having this season.
The event’s Facebook page invites people to “enjoy refreshments while [they] meet the actors and designers from the first show of their new season, Alfred Hitchcock’s THE 39 STEPS.” The house party will also provide guests with the opportunity to win a season pass to the 2014-2015 season.
Some of the special guest artists at the House party will be Julia Holland (Once Upon a Time Children’s Theater), Shoshana Kuttner (Young ACTors Project), Beverly Craveiro (Pianist extraordinaire and Malibu muse), Maria Newman & Scott Hosfeld (Malibu Friends of Music at the Montgomery Arts House for Music and Architecture – MAHMA), Nikki and Ethan White (Dance and Shape Company), etc.
