HOLLYWOOD—Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau is asking for help from the public regarding details leading to the identification and arrest of the suspects responsible for beating a man to death.

According to the LAPD Blog, on Wednesday, November 7, around 9:10 p.m., Hollywood Division patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon” in the 1000 block of North Serrano Avenue. Upon arrival, officers were directed to an unresponsive male adult victim on the rooftop of an apartment building.

Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene, where the victim was pronounced dead. The cause of death was blunt force trauma. The name of the victim has not been disclosed to the public, pending notification of next of kin. Three Hispanic males, all wearing dark pants and no shirts, were seen walking away from the scene, south on Serrano Avenue.
