WEST HOLLYWOOD—On June 12, a man reportedly made a spectacle of himself while threatening celebrity customers with his pants down in West Hollywood.

The man stood outside an Intermix store on Robertson Boulevard with his pants intermittently worn up and down around his ankles. The suspect frightened and chased several customers, including a woman with a stroller.

Authorities believed the man to be inebriated as he allegedly threw the whiskey bottle he was holding, and threatened to cut people with the shattered glass. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department eventually took the man into custody after eyewitnesses called to report the incident.

Information regarding the man’s identity, his reasons for frightening the shoppers, and his current mental health status was not disclosed, although authorities believe the man to be homeless.
