HOLLYWOOD HILLS—Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department reported that at 2:28 p.m. on Monday, February 12 a Hispanic male in his 20s was fatally shot inside his Hollywood Hills apartment.

A witness called authorities immediately following the sound of gunshots on the 2000 block of North Argyle Avenue. Authorities arrived on the scene around 2:30 p.m. The victim, whose name has not been disclosed to the public was pronounced dead on the scene. He suffered wounds to his torso.

According to reports, witnesses spotted a Hispanic male in his 30s fleeing the apartment after shots were fired. The suspect was described as wearing a blue jacket and brown pants. No motive or additional details about the suspect are available. The LAPD are still investigating the incident.
