PACIFIC PALISADES—A man was seriously injured after falling in remote terrain during a hike through the Santa Monica Mountains in Pacific Palisades on Saturday, June 10, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Officials were called at 4:31 p.m. to Trailer Canyon Fire Road near the Temescal Ridge Trail where they found a 35-year-old man with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The hiker suffered an ankle and wrist injury from the long fall.

A helicopter from the Los Angeles Fire Department hoisted the hiker to safety and transported him to a hospital for treatment. No information was released on the current condition of the hiker.
