SUN VALLEY—A Los Angeles area resident was shot and killed last week in the city of Sun Valley. The victim, Oganes Kalpakchyan, was 42 years old.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide, officers responded to a “Shots Fired” radio call after midnight on May 15. When the officers arrived on the scene of the 12800 block of Cantara Street, they found the victim suffering from a bullet wound. Authorities do not have a suspect description at this time.
