HOLLYWOOD HILLS—The Hollywood Hills home of actress and model Marilyn Monroe has hit the market for $2.695 million.

The home, built in 1938, boasts four bedrooms and five bathrooms and is located in the Outpost Estates neighborhood, the home was built against the hillside, giving the home a terraced appearance.

The 3,300 square foot property was designed by architect Charles Toberman in a Spanish Mediterranean style, similar to the design of other homes that he designed in the Outpost Estates area. Residents and guests enter the property on the ground level and a window gives way to an expansive of Runyon Canyon.

Monroe lived in the home a few years prior to marrying baseball star, Joe DiMaggio in 1954. The pair lived at the residence before and during their short marriage. Monroe is know for her roles in the films “All About Eve,” “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” “The Seven Year Itch” and “Some Like It Hot.”
