WEST HOLLYWOOD—On Monday, July 12, Davit Davtyan was last seen by his mother at West Hollywood’s Smart & Final store located at 7304 Santa Monica Blvd. at about 2:45 p.m., sheriff’s officials said. He suffers from a kidney condition that requires observation. He has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray t-shirt, and eyeglasses.  He is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 110 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a beard. He only speaks Armenian and Russian.

Davtyan is said to have boarded an eastbound bus at Sunset Boulevard and Vista Street, and more than likely, headed home to Hollywood.

If you find him or have any supplementary information or leads please contact the Watch Commander at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station at 310-855-8850.

UPDATE:

Davit Davtyan was found 24 hours after he had gone missing. His brother found him in La Brea. According to Sgt. Jason Schriener, “He got on the bus, got off and went cruising. He was found dehydrated and hungry. But in good conditions.”

He also adds, “The DMV picture that was sent out to find him was misleading, because he came in with a full beard and looked nothing like the clean cut picture on his ID. A fortunate happy ending.”
