According to the city of West Hollywood website, the West Hollywood City Council, in December 2015, approved a plan supporting a Metro rail project that would broaden the Metro Crenshaw/LAX Line to West Hollywood and connect to the Metro Red Line. The proposed Crenshaw/LAX Northern Extension light-rail transit line would provide north-south connections and enrich the existing Metro regional rail network. West Hollywood has been working with West Hollywood Advocates for Metro Rail (WHAM) and the All on Board Coalition to encourage support for the Metro rail line extension to West Hollywood and beyond.

A one-minute video, #FinishTheLine, has been posted on the City’s WeHoTV YouTube channel that maps-out the proposal to extend the Metro Crenshaw/LAX light-rail transit line: https://youtu.be/nPenhILOd0M.
