MALIBU—On Monday, March 11 at 4 p.m., a 42-year-old homeless man by the name of Miguel Guardado was found dead on a beach in Malibu. He was shot, and his death is being investigated as a homicide.
According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Guardado’s body was found on the 25600 block of Pacific Coast Highway.
Per an autopsy, it has been revealed that Guardado was shot in the upper portion of his body. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the LASD Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
