HOLLYWOOD —The holidays are officially over. While many of us are returning unwanted gifts back to the stores, there is one person I’m sure wants to keep her Christmas gift. Elin Nordegren, Tiger Woods’s wife reportedly received $300 million dollars as a Christmas gift, according to London’s News of the World. Talk about skiing on a mountain of cash. While Elin celebrated her 30th birthday in the French Alps with her twin, the Tiger reportedly is staying at the Trump International on Central Park West in New York City. As if the Swedish beauty didn’t have enough ammunition in her divorce war, a new video footage from a parking-lot security camera in California has surfaced reportedly showing Woods with yet another woman, according to London’s Daily Express. Elin has big plans for 2010-perhaps taking the golf great for half of his billion-dollar fortune for cheating on her over and over again with a bevy of beauties throughout their five-year marriage. Meanwhile, Tiger Woods will grace the cover of the February 2010 issue Vanity Fair.

Talk about big spenders. A few days after appearing in a sparkly, body-hugging catsuit on New Year’s Eve in Times Square, Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc Anthony sold their Bel-Air mansion for $7.5 million, according to reports, and purchased a $10 million mansion in Hidden Hills, Calif. As reported by X17, the property is massive, sits on three acres of land and boasts nine bedrooms, 12 bathrooms. The amenities include tennis courts, a pool, a gym, recording studio and a 20-seat home theater. And while I’m still trying to figure out why the Kardashians are famous —it’s mind-boggling to methe property is apparently in the same San Fernando Valley neighborhood as the Kardashians.

The blockbuster movie “Avatar” has become the fastest movie ever to achieve $1 billion at the box-office. Everyone is raving about the science fiction epic in 3D directed by James Cameron. The movie which is about a disabled marine who infiltrates a race of giant blue aliens was reportedly the most expensive film ever made, with a budget of at least $300 million. It’s the director’s first film since 1997’s Titanic which made worldwide $1.8 billion. James Cameron is now the only filmmaker to direct two films that have topped one billion dollars.

Making it big and branching out is the younger Jonas, with his solo act, Nick Jonas & the Administration. His tour kicked off at the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas, on January 3, with reportedly Selena Gomez sitting in the VIP section. His debut album will drop on February 2.

What recession? When it comes to the Super Bowl on February 7, 2010, in Miami, Fla. it takes big pockets to spend $2.5-$3million for a 30-second spot. You can probably count on Motorola running a Droid ad campaign. Then you have The Who to look forward to during half-time. Who by the way has a child abuse prevention group pressuring the NFL to cancel their performance. Child Abuse Watch.net objects to Pete Townshend performing because of his 2003 arrest by British police on suspicion of possessing child pornography. He was cleared but placed on a sex offender’s registry for five years, according to reports.

Rose’s Scoop: While so many celebrities were spending New Year’s Eve in warm destinations, Mariah Carey was in freezing temperatures in New York City. Mariah performed at Madison Square Garden on New Year’s Eve. According to my source, the diva kept the fans waiting till 11:30 p.m., when she finally decided to grace them with her presence and perform.
