Details are not available, however, sources tell the Hollywood Reporter that the screenplay was written by Jolie, and that it may be a relationship drama she scripted several years ago about a couple who go on vacation in a final attempt to salvage their marriage.
Mom-to-be Savannah Gunthrie who will be on maternity leave from the morning show has NBC News staffers wondering who will fill in for her. Katie Couric, who left the “Today” show in 2008 for one of the biggest gigs in television journalism, anchoring CBS Evening News may return, according to the New York Daily News and the New York Post. Her show “Katie,” comes to an end in June. She is also the global anchor for Yahoo! but according to reports is looking for a broadcast gig. Gunthrie is five months pregnant, so Couric would return in the late summer or early fall. NBC is also in talks with Meredith Vieira, according to published reports.
Hilary Clinton, will take on another exciting role: grandmother. Chelsea Clinton and hubby Marc Mezvinsky are expecting their first child this fall. The former First Daughter, 34, announced her news while speaking at an event for the Clinton Foundation’s No Ceiling: The Full Participation Project, which seeks to empower women globally.
