BEVERLY HILLS—The city of Beverly Hills is inviting community members and local businesses to join in philanthropic opportunities over the holiday season via its Community Charitable Foundation (CBHCCF) at www.beverlyhills.org/CharitbleGifting.

According to a press release from Dana Beesen from the city of BH, a tax deductible donation towards park beautification projects, historical preservation and restoration efforts or cultural and community programs are options available to those looking to make a difference in the Beverly Hills community.

“Beverly Hills is fortunate to have so many generous people who want to support our community,” said Howard Fisher, Chairperson of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.  “The Foundation has made it easy for interested residents, businesses and others to make charitable contributions to areas of the City where they feel it will have the greatest impact for future generations.”

The CBHCCF was established to allow residents and local businesses to give a tax-deductible donation to the city. There are opportunities available for giving, including The Beverly Gardens Park, Beverly Hills Community Dog Park, Greystone Mansion & Gardens, Beverly Hills Public Library, Human Services and more. A new, online donation option is available for:

-The Beverly Gardens Park Historical Renovation Project

-Beverly Hills Community Dog Park

Donors can give any amount and in more than one area or city department. Additional charitable giving programs are available through the Friends of Greystone; the Friends of the Beverly Hills Public Library, and the Friends of Beverly Gardens Park.

While all donations to the city are tax deductible, some patrons and companies require donations to be given to a 501(c)3; the CBHCCF is pleased to provide that opportunity.

The current CBHCCF Board of Directors includes:  City Treasurer and CBHCCF Chair, Howard Fisher; Vice-Mayor and BBHCCF Vice-Chair, Julian Gold, M.D., Councilmember Lester Friedman and Resident Board Members Allison Balson and Ronit Stone.  The CBHCCF Officers include Chief Financial Officer Don Rhoads, and Chief Executive Officer/City Manager Mahdi Aluzri.
