HOLLYWOOD—Hollywood celebrities spend a month in hiding after the awards season wraps up. The very first party they attend is the Vanity Fair Party-which kicks off the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival. The party brings an electric mix of personalities from the worlds of film, food, fashion, technology and sports attending the magazine’s event at the New York State Supreme Court which took place on April 14.

The stars posed against a massive stone staircase, with the stairs beautifully decorated with candles and beautifully, detailed lighting from the production company Southshore productions. So when the steps of Manhattan’s State Supreme Court are your red carpet, always expect A-listers to make an appearance.

Some of the A-listers in attendance is the film festival co-founder Robert De Niro and his wife Grace Hightower, Jane Rosenthal, Andy Cohen, John McEnroe, Charlie Rose, Amanda Burden, Bethann Hardison, model Joan Smalls, Lindsay Ellingson, Gayle King (Oprah’s BFF), model Constance Jablonski, model Irina Shayk (Cristiano Ronaldo former girlfriend) actress Debi Mazar, designer Diane von Furstenberg, Ivanka Trump, President and CEO of CBS Corporation Leslie Moonves, Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Graydon Carter and Julie Chen among many more.

Glitz, fashion and beauty were also at the New York International Make-Up Artist Trade Show known simply as (IMATS) during the weekend of April 10-12 at Pier 94. The sold-out beauty event took Manhattan by storm once again. IMATS is where thousands of make-up artists, vendors and just make-up lovers discuss, display and collect the best the industry has to offer.

The make-up pros from film and fashion, including Emmy, Oscar and BAFTA award winners provide the latest demonstrations and educate on the different ways of applying make-up to look your best. IMATS never disappoints and features a make-up museum, Battle of the Brushes and a student competition. IMATS continues to always educate and connect some of the best make-up artists in the world. The extravaganza keeps on growing and bringing new faces from around the country. The event had an estimated 100 vendors including Sigma, NYX, Stila, LA Girls and Morphe with the line wrapped around and had a two-hour wait.

We can’t forget our dear friend Eve Pearl, who always has a smile on her face and beautiful things to say. According to a fan, YouTube gurus weren’t allowed to meet and greet inside the show, since it caused huge lines and chaos and made it difficult for people to shop and enjoy the show. Outside of the venue doing meet and greets, there were beautiful beauty gurus Nicole Guerriero and Carli Bybel. The show once again, gets a five-star!

What is a society without beauty, art and music? Drake closed Coachella last weekend with a surprise kiss from Madonna. The gorgeous 56-year-old sang bits of “Hung Up,” and “Human Nature.” She seriously lip-locked the 28-year-old Drake, who was sitting in a chair with the pop icon dancing around him when she proceeded to kiss him. Videos of the encounter soon went viral as Drake crinkled his face afterwards and wiped his mouth.

Rose’s Scoop: If you haven’t seen the film “The Longest Ride,” you are missing out on the handsome Scott Eastwood. The film is based on the best-seller book from my buddy Nicholas Sparks, who I had the pleasure of bumping into a few years ago.
