GRIFFITH PARK—On Tuesday, February 12, a woman led authorities on a high-speed car chase throughout the San Fernando Valley. The suspect was taken into police custody after trying to hide from officials of the California Highway Patrol in a parking garage of a Griffith Park apartment.

The chase started in Arleta shortly after 11:00 p.m. NBC 4 Los Angeles reported the suspect was wanted for reckless driving. She reached speeds over 100 miles per hour on the freeway before she driving surface streets through Sun Valley, Burbank, and North Hollywood.

After almost an hour of being pursed by police, the suspect drove into the parking structure of an apartment complex near Hyperion and Riverside Drive. After searching the garage, officers found suspect, who was taken into custody before midnight.
