LOS ANGELES—Officials from the Los Angeles Police Department Van Nuys area and the family of Carla Ettima are asking for the public’s assistance to locate her.

According to the LAPD website, on Wednesday, December 26, at around 8 p.m., Ettima was last seen after she was released from a local hospital in the 15100 block of Vanowen Street. Her family is concerned because she suffers from numerous medical conditions, requiring frequent treatment and medications.

Ettima is described as a 58-year-old, African-American female, standing 5 feet and 5 inches tall. She weighs 110 pounds, has a thin build with a light complexion. She was last seen wearing a white blouse, navy blue jacket under a pink jacket, blue pants and blue shoes. She was using a black metal cane at the time she disappeared.
