LOS FELIZ—Authorities are currently seeking the driver responsible for a hit-and-run accident in Los Feliz that left five people – including three teenagers severely injured.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 6 after one vehicle cut off another vehicle near the intersection of Tica Drive and Los Feliz Boulevard, KTLA 5 reported.

Two cars involved in the incident were a Chrysler PT Cruiser and reportedly a Chrysler Sebring. Drivers of both vehicles were engaged in a “dispute over driving behavior” immediately prior to the crash. The Sebring cut off the PT Cruiser, before coming to a stop in front of it.

The PT Cruiser swerved into oncoming traffic to avoid the Sebring, where the car collided with an Infiniti G35. The driver of the Sebring fled the scene without attempting to render aid or contact the authorities.

Five people in total were transported to a local hospital, including the driver of the PT Cruiser, and four occupants of the Infiniti. Four people sustained, severe, but non-life threatening injuries. The fifth person, a teenager is listed in critical condition after receiving extreme head trauma from the crash.

The Los Angeles Police Department are continuing their search for the driver that caused that crash. He has been described as a Caucasian male. The car was confirmed to be a four-door white automobile.

Authorities are offering an award of $50,000 for anyone with information regarding the crash. Detectives from the LAPD Central Traffic Division can be contacted at (213) 833-3713.
