MALIBU—On September 16, a man allegedly attempted to sexually assault an 8-year-old girl, according to police.

 

The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department reports that the incident occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. on the 23600 block of Park Capri, where it is believed that the man, reportedly a resident of Calabasas, convinced the child to follow him into an isolated area where he then attempted to assault her.  The girl managed to escape before the suspect could attack her.

 

The man is believed to be a 30-year-old Caucasian male with sandy blond hair. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.  The suspect was dressed in tan shorts at the time of the incident.
