HOLLYWOOD—The one thing I’ve always enjoyed about the series “Revenge” is the clever titles for each episode and its latest installment ‘Control’did not disappoint. The question of who attempted to murder Conrad (Henry Czerny) came to a head as Emily (Emily VanCamp) and Aiden (Barry Sloane) begin looking to discover who was responsible for the tampering of the brake lines.  Margaux and Jack (Nick Wechsler) continued to flirt with one another as she attempted to get him to break out of his shell. These two do look good together I must say; just as Conrad began to implement his latest plan to take down the person he thought was responsible for trying to kill him.

Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) did her best to drive a wedge between Emily and Charlotte (Christa B. Allen), just as she hoped to bring her two sons, Patrick (Justin Hartley) and Daniel (Joshua Bowman) together.  Patrick dropped a bombshell on Nolan (Gabriel Mann) when he revealed he was well aware of his digging into his past.  Margaux sent a light bulb into Daniel’s head, about how little he knows about his fiance’s past.  That is quite interesting that Daniel has known Emily for such a time frame, but knows little to nothing about her past or family.

Jack was not too pleased to discover Aiden in his home making threats that Conrad is coming after him.  He appeared to heed the warning. Nolan was a bit surprised when Emily informed her Aiden was assisting on the case.  To see her BFF begin to question her motives sent Emily in a dismal state of mind. Victoria implemented her latest plan in action to use Jack to unnerve Emily, which worked; Jack planned to leave town, just as Emily got wind that perhaps Aiden cannot be trusted. He has betrayed her once, who is to say he won’t do it again.

Charlotte began to question her mother’s attempt to destroy Emily and Daniel’s relationship.  The tiff between Emily and Aiden’s relationship reached new heights as Emily gave her former love an ultimatum.  Nolan admitted his mistakes to Patrick in hopes of rebuilding trust. Victoria raised Margaux’s spirits by informing her to tackle her father head on; hmm, I’m wondering if this is her way of bringing Daniel and Margaux closer together. The quest for vengeance has literally fallen apart for Emily Thorne, as Daniel decided to call off the wedding.

Nolan gave Emily a piece of advice that hit close to home; share a piece of her past with Daniel to regain his trust. Emily broke into Jack’s place to gather some photos from the past and found her latest plan array when she watched Jack and Margaux share a tender kiss. Victoria was not too pleased to discover from Aiden that it was one of her children who attempted to murder Conrad. Her hubby was not too pleased to discover that his daughter Charlotte was the culprit. He informed his daughter that she would not share a word of her past discretion to anyone; he was willing to sweep her attempt to murder him under the rug.  Wow, I wonder if most Americans would react that way in real life.  Surprise, surprise, it was Patrick who actually tried to kill Conrad, yet Victoria allowed CHARLOTTE to take the fall.  How deceptive can a mother truly be to place one child ahead of the others?

Emily and Aiden shared a kiss; it appears Daniel and Jack no longer holds Emily’s heart.  Charlotte was well aware of her mother’s intentions, and she let it be known that her intentions were to spare Jack and no one else. Emily’s plan to rebuild her relationship with Daniel worked as she revealed some details about her past and a photo to commemorate a past that she rarely discusses to anyone. Patrick and Nolan took their relationship to the next level. I wonder how mama dearest will react to the news.  Until next Sunday “Revenge” lovers!
