SANTA MONICA—Saturday, August 10, will be the last family Splash Day of the summer in Santa Monica. Residents and guests are invited to join the community at any of the city’s aquatic locations including: Annenberg Community Beach House, the Santa Monica Swim Center and the Lincoln Middle School Pool. It will be the final bash of festivities including picnics and other fun-filled activities at the city’s pool locations.

As part of the events, the Annenberg Community Beach House Pool will host a recreational swim session in addition to aquatics events and swim lessons. Annenberg Community House accepts drop-ins on a first-come, first-served basis. Day-of passes are available from 9 a.m., while a limited number of online reservations are available starting at 7 a.m. via smgov.net/reserve. The same fees and rules for recreational swimming apply.

The Santa Monica Swim Center is also open to the public, with the same drop in and reservation restrictions. It boasts two heated pools, including an Olympic-sized fitness pool and a splash pool 4.5 feet deep.

Lincoln Middle School offers a heated pool approximately 25 yards, with six lanes for lap swim only.
