SANTA MONICA—From June 8-August 7, the City of Santa Monica will offer free meals to youth. With three locations throughout the city, anyone 18 and under is invited to eat for free. Meals are first come, first serve with no reservations.

The locations include Santa Monica PAL at 1401 Olympic Boulevard, Virginia Avenue Park at 2200 Virginia Avenue, and John Adams Middle School at 2425 16th Street.

The free meals are part of a summer food program provided by the USDA. Approved SFSP sites will provide meals to youth ages 0-18 for the entire summer. It is estimated that more than 200 million meals will be provided this summer. For additional details visit www.laparks.org/foodprogram/
