SANTA MONICA—The Santa Monica Public Library will be hosting an educational workshop with Solomon Moore of Our Financial & Insurance Services on Thursday, September 7 to discuss Medicare 101. According to a press release from the city of Santa Monica, the workshop will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Library’s second floor Community Room located at 601 Santa Monica Blvd.

The workshop is aimed for those turning 65, or already eligible for Medicare and not fully aware of their choices to join the FREE Medicare educational workshop with Our Solomon Financial & Insurance Services. Topics will include: the history of Medicare, eligibility, enrollment periods, Medicare Part C, Medicare Part D, and more.

The program is free and open to all ages. Seating is limited and available on a first come first serve basis. The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair accessible. For disability-related accommodations, call Library Administration at (310) 458-8606 at least one week prior to the event.

The Main Library is directly served by Big Blue Bus lines 1, R10 and 18. The Expo Line and Big Blue Bus lines 2, 3, R3 and 9 stop nearby. Ride your bike. Bicycle parking racks are available at the library.
