WESTWOOD—The UC Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate the person responsible for a sexual assault that occurred off campus on Friday, January 22. The incident occurred at 12:01 a.m. on the 600 block of Gayley Avenue.

The victim was attending a party, when the suspect who the victim did not know, sexually assaulted her. After the incident the suspect left the scene.

Police are describing the suspect as a White male, with dark curly hair and the suspect had a shadow of facial hair. The victim is a student at UCLA and no specifics about the age, build or eye color of the suspect is known. The incident is still under investigation by authorities.
