WEST HOLLYWOOD—Actress Crystal Hunt, 29, known to most for her work on the daytime soaps “Guiding Light” and “One Life to Live” has been sentenced after pleading no contest to assaulting a woman at a bar.

The incident in question occurred on December 13, 2013, where Hunt threw a glass at a woman after an altercation took place at the bar. The victim sustained injuries to her face from the assault. Hunt pleaded no contest to felony assault by means to produce great bodily injury.

According to a press release from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Kathryn Solorzano of the Airport Branch sentenced Hunt to three years formal probation. She also received 45 days of Caltrans work. Hunt could have spent up to five years behind bars.

The case was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department West Hollywood Station.
