SANTA MONICA—Redmond O’Neal is being sued by a man whom O’Neal allegedly stabbed. The victim’s name is Seth Cooper Folkerson who also goes by the name Anton Troy. O’Neal is the son of late actress Farrah Fawcett and actor Ryan O’Neal.

Several days during the month of May, O’Neal went on a random crime spree in the cities of Venice and Palm Beach, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. Those crimes transpired between May 2 and May 5 and May 8. The alleged crime spree began in the Palms area on May 2, when O’Neal purportedly hit a man and then attempted to stab him with a glass bottle. The next day, the defendant reportedly punched another man in the same vicinity, prosecutors said.

On May 4, O’Neal allegedly stabbed another man and stabbed a fourth man multiple times in unrelated separate attacks, both in Venice. Three days later, the defendant allegedly went on to threaten a Venice Beach coffee shop employee.

The next day, prosecutors said he armed himself with a knife, entered a convenience store in Venice and demanded cash from the clerk.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office revealed that O’Neal was charged with a total of 6 felonies on June 11 including  one count each of attempted murder, second-degree robbery and criminal threats; and three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with, a knife, a broken glass bottle, and a stabbing device.

He was also charged with 6 misdemeanors including one count each of possession of smoking device, possession of injection and ingestion device, battery and exhibiting a deadly weapon; and two counts of possessing a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

The complaint includes special allegations of use of a deadly and dangerous weapon, a knife, during the commission of the robbery and inflicting great bodily injury.

The LAPD stated that O’Neal allegedly attacked five men during this spree. One of those men, Folkerson, filed a lawsuit on June 26 which included charges of assault and battery.

According to reports, Folkerson was stabbed in Venice while walking near Rose Avenue and Fourth Street. Folkerson was attacked by O’Neal on May 4.

His suit states that because of the injuries he sustained from the attack, he is currently unable to work. Folkerson claimed O’Neal pushed the knife “three and one-half inches into his brain and then slit his throat along the carotid artery,” TMZ reported.

Folkerson is currently seeking an unrevealed amount of compensation for damages and medical expenses.

O’Neal faces a possible maximum sentence of 22 years in state prison if convicted as charged. Bail is set at more than $1.31 million.

Redmond previously had run-ins with the law in the past. In February 2010, he was ordered to return to a residential drug treatment program. He was arrested in December 2009 for violating his probation in connection to past drug charges. Redmond was arrested and charged with taking drugs into the Pitchess Detention Center, where he had been visiting an inmate. Both he and his father were arrested in September 2008, in their Malibu home after deputies conducted a probation search and found methamphetamines in their residence. In June 2010, Redmond graduated from the drug treatment program.

Redmond’s mother and Ryan’s long-time companion, Fawcett passed away in Santa Monica after a long battle with cancer. Redmond had been the voice actor for “Squirt” in the 1998 animated series “The Brave Little Toaster.” His father starred in movies such as “The Driver” (1978), “Zero Effect” (1998) and “People I Know” (2002). His mother most notably starred in the ’70s television series, “Charlie’s Angels.”
