LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for help to locate the person responsible for robbing a Starbucks restaurant in West Los Angeles on September 4. According to the LAPD blog website, the incident occurred at around 4:10 p.m., when a male suspect entered the Starbucks located on 10900 block of Pico Blvd.

He ordered a beverage and flashed his gun that he was concealing on his waistband to the employee, and demanded money. The employee complied with the suspects demand out of fear for her life. The weapon used in the robbery was a semi-automatic hand gun with chrome on the grip.

He is described as an African-American male, between the ages of 32 and 37. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs around 170 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket with a hoodie, blue denim jeans and a large set of white or gray headphones over a black baseball cap.
