PACIFIC PALISADES—Four members of an active burglary crew were arrested in Pacific Palisades on Monday, June 8 following a sting operation carried out by the Metro Detail, Burglary Robbery Task Force.

Investigators were tailing the group of male and female gang members who were suspected of carrying out a series of “knock-knock” style burglaries across Los Angeles County.

Task force officers spotted two male and two female gangsters driving a rental vehicle through an upscale Pacific Palisades neighborhood at approximately 12:45 p.m. After stopping the vehicle outside of a residency, two of the suspects climbed over the home’s side gate and into the back yard. After several minutes, they were seen leaving from the opposite gate with a bag full of undisclosed items.

The other two suspects then picked-up their comrades in the getaway vehicle.

After making a quick confirmation that the home had been ransacked and burglarized, they apprehended the four suspects near the crossing of Paseo Miramar and Sunset Boulevard.

All four suspects were subsequently arrested and booked without incident.

Elanee Jarrett, 20, Donte Caldwell, 22, Chivetta Overstreet, 21, Evarald Fisher, 22, were identified as the burglary suspects. All of them have prior felony records, which include a vast array of crimes ranging from evasion of arrest to attempted murder.

Though they are currently being held on $50,000 bail, that amount is expected to be bumped-up due to their known gang affiliation.
