STUDIO CITY—The Los Angeles Police Department, Juvenile Division’s Sexually Exploited Child Unit (SECU) arrested Lino Cabrera, 27, for Sexual Battery and Child Annoying at the Oxnard Elementary School.

On May 16, a crime report was generated at the elementary school. The report made allegations of inappropriate behavior by a teacher’s aide, prompting the Los Angeles Police Department, Juvenile Division’s SECU to conduct an investigation.

Following the investigation, authorities revealed all six victims were students at Oxnard Street Elementary and are between the ages of 10-11. Cabrera’s arrest warrant was filed on May 30, and was charged with one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child and five counts of lewd acts on a child, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office noted.

Cabrera was charged with sexual abuse to multiple girls on June 3, and his bail was set at $850,000. He could face up to 26 years in prison if convicted as charged.
