BEVERLY HILLS—Former MTV star of the reality series “Teen Mom” Farrah Abraham, 27, was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel after assaulting a security guard on Tuesday, June 12.

The incident was reported to the Beverly Hills Police Department at 1:19 a.m., where Abraham attacked a male security guard. The BHPD indicated in a press release to Canyon News that the security officer reported that Abraham struck him in the face with her forearm, grabbed his ear and pushed him in the face as he tried to prevent her from re-entering the hotel.  Officers spotted that Abraham exhibited signs of intoxication during the investigation.

According to reports, the incident transpired after Abraham was asked to leave the facility after getting into a verbal altercation with several hotel guests. The victim sustained minor injuries during the attack and did not require treatment at a hospital.

She was taken into custody for misdemeanor battery and trespassing pursuant to a private person’s arrest. Her bail was set at $500. Abraham was at the hotel with her daughter Sophia, as depicted in pictures she posted on social media. She was seen in a picture with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. Abraham posted on Instagram:

TMZ revealed in video they obtained of Abraham as she was speaking with officers after she was about to be placed in the police cruiser. She can be heard in the video yelling expletives at officers. “I’m not resisting,” Abraham states in the video. She can later be heard shouting, “You’re hurting me,” as she cries before being placed in the police car. Abraham was released from police custody on Wednesday afternoon. She did not speak to reporters upon being released from custody by officials from the Beverly Hills Police Department.

She made headlines several years ago after starring in an adult film with James Deen in 2013. She came to fame on the MTV series “16 and Pregnant,” and later appeared in the spinoff show “Teen Mom.” She appeared on the UK version of “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2015. She released a memoir in 2012 titled, “My Teenage Dream Ended.” Abraham was recently fired from the MTV show “Teen Mom” earlier in the year.
