BEVERLY HILLS—On Sunday, November 22, the Rodeo Drive Holiday Lighting Ceremony kicked off the holiday season in Beverly Hills. In attendance at the annual ceremony included Santa Claus, Mayor Julian Gold, M.D. and Mrs. Claus.

The ceremony included the lighting of Rodeo Drive’s palm trees, an immersive light show, a dance preview of Debbie Allen’s The Hot Chocolate Nutcracker, live music performed by the Beverly Hills High School Marching Band and much more.

Other holiday happenings in Beverly Hills include:

Santa at The Paley, which is located at 465 North Beverly Drive. Santa is scheduled for 3 weekends in December – December 5 and 6, December 12 and 13, December 19 and 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free. The Jolly Trolley can be taken to The Paley.

Mrs. Claus on The Jolly Trolley is a scenic tour of historic Beverly Hills sites and landmarks. Special songs and stories on the Trolley are included. The Trolley departs from the corner of North Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way. Tickets are $5 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available on board the Trolley.

Departure times are 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Dates are December 5 and 6, December 12 and 13 and December 19 and 20.

Passengers have the option of getting off to see Santa at The Paley or staying on board to return to Rodeo Drive.
