HOLLYWOOD—Another weekend, another new box-office champ at the multiplex. The sequel “Think Like a Man Too” ruled the box-office with a $30 million haul, enough to hold the top spot from last week’s champ “ 22 Jump Street.” The comedy featuring an all-star cast including comedian Kevin Hart, slightly underperformed compared to its predecessor that drew in nearly $33 million. It will be interesting to see how the sequel performs next weekend against a summer blockbuster.

Landing in the #2 spot is “ 22 Jump Street” with $29 million. After two weeks at theaters, the sequel has already crossed the $100 million mark domestically. Taking the #3 spot was the animated flick “How to Train Your Dragon 2” with just over $25 million. The film is just a few mere million from crossing the $100 million mark at the domestic box-office, which should happen before the end of the week.

Clint Eastwood’s “Jersey Boys” didn’t see the same success in theaters as it did on Broadway. The musical drama earned a disappointing $13.5 million in its first week in theaters.

Angelina Jolie is having one hell of a summer, as “Maleficent” continues to bring in big numbers. The Disney flick secured the #5 spot at the box-office taking in another $13 million. The movie is certain to cross the $200 million mark domestically in the next week or so.

Next week sees the highly anticipated release of “Transformers: Age of Extinction.” We all know the film will debut in the top spot at next weekend’s box-office. The question of how much is what movie analysts will have to examine. Without star Shia LaBeouf attached to this installment, it will be interesting to see if fans of the original trilogy turn out in droves.
