PACIFIC PALISADES—A team of celebrities led by golfer Tiger Woods won the Genesis Open’s inaugural Celebrity Cup on Monday, February 11.
The Cup, held at the Riviera Country Club, was between two teams. Tiger Woods led a team consisting of actor Mark Wahlberg, musician Kid Rock, singer Nick Jonas, NFL Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice, Arizona Cardinals player Larry Fitzgerald, and social media personality Paige Spiranac. Fred Couples led a team of actors that included Chris Pratt, Luke Wilson, and Oliver Hudson, former NFL player Reggie Bush, “The Bachelor” host Chris Harrison and talk show host Carson Daly.
Team Woods defeated Team Couples 18.5-11.5 for the four-ball net match-lay event on Riviera’s closing nine holes.
