MALIBU—In an elegant Malibu mansion a set is being built this week for the most highly anticipated film of 2011, “Twilight of the Gods,” and in two weeks stars such as Thomas Flannery, “The Social Network” star Emma Fitzpatrick, Gabrielle Salinger, Will Poston, Paul Vandervolt and many others will begin performing before the acclaimed and award-winning Executive Producer Domi Arcangeli and Director Kern Saxton, fresh off the creative genius in his upcoming film “Sushi Girl.” Every great film or TV series has a super couple. Fortunately for “Twilight of the Gods” the couple is also supernatural and it has certainly worked for films such as “New Moon” and shows such as “True Blood.”

Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton are the most beloved couple on “True Blood.”Millions of fans clamor for any hint of news on the iconic characters, who inhabit the fictitious town of Bon Temps in Louisiana. For our film, we start in Malibu, there will also be filming in Bel Air and then a very exciting conclusion is delivered in a Hollywood Hills location. For years, many producers have found their greatest locales in towns all across America and around the globe. Though producer Arcangeli said, “For Bill and Sookie it works for them and Alan Ball on the Gulf Coast of the U.S. But for our film, which we are glad you are a part of, Tommy, we think the place where you call home and many people dream of being is the ideal location for us.”

Domi won’t divulge too much about the story, but suffice it to say, fans can expect the talented Thomas Flannery, as Charles to become a super leading man, and what can you say about the sublime and beautiful Emma Fitzpatrick, who embodies the film’s leading lady of Claire. “If anyone saw Emma in ”˜The Social Network’ or anything else she’s been in, they know she is extremely elegant and charismatic. She’s the Grace Kelly of the 21st Century. She’s going to become America’s newest princess,” said Domi.

When “Twilight” creators decided their super couple would be Edward and Bella, fans felt that Bella’s character though mysterious really lacked the supernatural element. With “True Blood,” Alan Ball made certain that Sookie Stackhouse would be no mere mortal. Sookie turned out to be a fairy in season three, and fans are excited about what comes next. “We want to see our characters cross over to the dark side. The world has been obsessed with the rich, famous and beautiful. You know them all, you know who your audience and readers love to see you talk about and write about. Well, get ready to see the beautiful people of Hollywood caught up in drugs, sex and vampirism,” concluded the producer.

Next week Canyon News speaks exclusively with the film’s casting directors, who made such exceptional and great choices for each role. Including my cameo as Thammaso. “Twilight of the Gods” will send excitement throughout the hills of Beverly and the canyons of Malibu.
