HOLLYWOOD —Sunday night’s “True Blood” titled “Shake and Fingerpop” was just as exciting as the first time it aired last Summer. Sookie was sent to Dallas, Texas, with Bill in tow in order to find Godric, the head of the local vampire community. They also take Jessica, but upon arrival Sookie read the mind of the driver who attempts to abduct Sookie. Bill quickly ejects himself from the vault he’s in and saves Sookie. This was a precursor to the danger Sookie will find herself in when she infiltrates The Fellowship of the Sun Christian ministry. Eric was behind the trio’s trip to Dallas, as it has not been revealed, but Godric is not just Eric’s sheriff but his maker.

Back in Bon Temps the evil Maryann is gaining her demonic grasp over the residents of the sleepy southern town. Maryann threw a party for Tara who has now moved into Sookie’s house because she wanted to be away from Maryann and Eggs. Pretty soon, a lot of people showed up and once again Maryann weaves her magic, revealing something interesting to the viewers, not the characters, about herself in the process.

Sam Merlotte isn’t sure starting a relationship with Daphne is a good idea, but she tells him she knows his secret. Obviously Daphne knows Sam is a shape shifter, and soon it will be revealed that so is she, sending her and Sam down a path of passion that ends in tragedy.

Lafayette was still recovering from his wounds when Eric appeared at his door and made him a proposition. Eric offered his blood to heal Lafayette and it sent him on a gyrating dance down memory lane.

Jason is still making an impression at Church camp and is asked to move in with Sarah and Steve Newlin. Jason Stackhouse in close proximity with a beautiful woman is a recipe for disaster. Fans enjoyed seeing this very popular episode once again and celebrated at Facebook | True Blood on Sunday night and are excited about season two being released next month on DVD.
