MALIBU—Police responded to two serious collisions that took place along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Sunday, June 14. The collisions took place separately, but occurred within 100 yards of each other and only minutes apart.

The first collision involved one vehicle and took place at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Topanga Canyon.

A bicyclist was accidentally hit by a motorist during the second collision on Topanga a few minutes later.

The two people involved in the collisions were airlifted to a local hospital to be treated for unknown injuries.

The cause of both accidents is currently under investigation.

Traffic was heavy on both sides of the PCH as authorities investigated the scene. Just a day before, another collision on PCH resulted in the death of 90s rapper MC Supreme. His real name is Dwayne Coleman. Coleman died after a pick-up truck crashed into two parked vehicles, one of those vehicles where Coleman was inside.

The driver of the truck Phillip Torres, 34, was arrested for being intoxicated behind the wheel.
