PACIFIC PALISADES—Model and actress Tyra Banks recently sold her ocean view Pacific Palisades home for $8.9 million.

Bank’s home was placed on the market in May for an asking price of $9.25 million. She purchased the 6,135 estate for $7.35 million in 2016 under her mother’s name, Page Six reported.

The three-story home was built in 1950 and was designed by Douglas Breidenbach. It has five bedrooms, an outdoor kitchen and fireplace, media rooms, maid suite, and a view of the mountains and the ocean.

This is not the first home that Banks has placed on the market. She sold her Beverly Hills home for $6.33 million in 2016 and her Battery Park City home was listed for an asking price of $17.5 million in 2017, but it is currently unlisted.

Banks, 44, began her modeling career at the age of 15 in Los Angeles. She is known for reality competition series “America’s Next Top Model,” which recently completed its 24th season. Banks recently released her latest book, which she co-wrote with her mother, this year titled “Perfect is Boring.” She also appeared on the TV series “Fresh Prince of Bel Air,” and starring in the films “Coyote Ugly” and “Halloween: Resurrection.”
