BEVERLY HILLSI’m a little girl by the name of Piper.  Now, I know that there are a lot of us Chihuahuas around, but wouldn’t you say that I’m a little different?  When I’m out for a walk, I’m a real conversation starter, as people always comment on my unusual coloring and markings.
Would you believe that I was dropped in someone’s yard? I had a collar and leash on, but no tags.  I wasn’t wanted, for some reason, but at least I was left where it was thought that no harm would come to me.
My rescuer didn’t know quite what to make of it, so he put signs up all over, asked people if they knew me, and checked to see if I was micro-chipped.  No one claimed me, so here I am, safe and sound, and waiting for someone that would like to adopt me.
I’m only about 8 months old, so I’m still a puppy, and have lots to learn.  I hope that you can tell by my alert look and bright eyes that I’ll be a very fast learner.
Seeing that I’ve only been around for about eight months, there’s not much that I can tell you about myself, except that I get along with other dogs, love to take walks and love to cuddle.  So, if you have another dog that would like someone to play with, or if you would like company on your walks, or would like someone to sit with you when you watch TV or read, I’m ready to be that someone!
So, won’t you please call to see me?  I would love to belong to someone that will love me and make me a part of their life forever.  I promise that you won’t be sorry, as you’ll get a lot of love back, really you will!
I have lots of friends here, both dogs and kitty cats, that are waiting to be adopted, too.  So, tell your friends to check out our Web site at: foafla.petfinder.com to see them all.
