BEVERLY HILLSMy name is “Sadie,” and I will tell you right up front that I’m known as a ‘special needs’ dog – which means that I need a very special person to take care of me and love me.  I have a heart condition, so I have to have medication every day.  I like to go for walks, but can only go a very short way, as I get tired really fast.  So, if you want someone to go with you on your long walks, I’m not the one for you.  Although, they do have doggie strollers!  I’d love to sit in one of those to keep you company on your walks.  I bet that would be a conversation starter!
Now, if my special needs didn’t scare you away, I’ll tell you a little bit more about myself.  I’m a Min Pin – or to those who just said, “You’re a what?” – that’s short for Miniature Pinscher.  Now, for all of you that thought all Min Pins had ‘stand-up’ ears – that’s because they were cropped.  Mine weren’t – yippee!
I’m not aggressive in any way, and get along with everyone.  However, it would be best to be in a home with no small children, as they can be quite active, and as I need my rest and no exertion, a home with only grown ups would be best for me.
I guess that you can tell by my name that I’m a little girl.  I weigh about 15 pounds, and I’m 9 years old.
I hope that there’s that special person out there that would like to take care of me and give me a loving home.  I promise to give you lots of love back.  My heart may be a little damaged, but it’s still full of love.
If you want a more active dog, all that you have to do is look on our websites at: foafla.petfinder.com or friendsofanimalsfoundation.net and you’ll see lots of them – and, oh, yes, kitty cats, too!  But, I sure hope that there’s someone that will come to see me. Won’t you please call?
