My name is Tiger Lily, and I’m a two year old French Bull Dog mix. I’m sure that I was named Tiger Lily because I resemble a Tiger, and not a Lily!  Although, my personality is much more Lily-like, that’s for sure!  I’m extremely affectionate, and just want to please.
I have to tell you that for some reason or other, I’m not that friendly to some dogs. I don’t really know why that is, because I get along with most dogs just fine.  Well, you know, it’s the same with people – some you get along with, and some you don’t.  That doesn’t make you a bad person!
However, to make up for that, I get along just fine with children of all ages.
I do have some minor separation anxiety, and tend to bark a little when you’re gone.  So, if you live in an apartment, and it isn’t that dog friendly, I guess one of my non-barking friends that are here at the Friends of Animals Foundation would be a better match. However, if you live in a house – well, here I am!
On a positive note, I am housebroken, and on another positive note, I’m not the possessive type. So, I think that my positives outweigh my negatives.
I would be, oh, so happy, to be with someone that can give me a lot of attention and love. I will give you, oh, so much love back.  So, won’t you please call to see me?
On a personal note:  Remember little Pepe, the tiny Chihuahua that was in this column a few weeks ago?  Well, he’s laying on my lap as I write this!  He is truly a lap dog!  The sweetest, smartest (of course!), little dog.  I’ve only had him a few days, but it seems as though he’s always been with me.  I don’t know if he learned my routine or I learned his!  Whatever – our being together was meant to be.  You can be sure that you will see pictures of him, as you have the other wonderful rescue dogs that I’ve had, in his different holiday fare!
We have so many wonderful dogs and cats that are waiting to be adopted into loving homes. So, if you have room in your home and your heart, won’t you please check our website at: foafla.petfinder.com where you can see them all. Then give us a call to make an appointment to come in to see the one, or ones, that you think will fit into your lifestyle. Also, we can always use volunteers!!
