My name is “Tootsie”, and I’m a very cute (so I’ve heard people say) little girl. I’m only seven months old, and weigh about fifteen pounds.  Yes, you know the story by now, it’s because of “no pets allowed” that I was given up.  Well, everyone has been making such a big fuss over me, that I’m sure I’ll find another home very soon.
I get along just great with other dogs, and with children, too.  I’ve never been with cats, but I doubt that there would be a problem, as I’ve heard that cats are pretty smart about being able to take care of themselves!
 I’m not a barker, but I will bark to let you know when the mail comes.  Who knows, maybe there will be a check for you, or, maybe, something that you ordered for me!
I’ve been trained to use wee-wee pads, so that’s a help for you if there is some reason that you can’t take me outside.  But, I do love to go for my daily walks, as I need my exercise – and so do you! 
Won’t you call to see me?  Then we can take a walk together, and you will see what fun we can have!
NOTE:  THE FRIENDS OF ANIMALS FOUNDATION IS HOLDING THEIR SUMMER CHAMPAGNE LUNCHEON ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 28TH AT 11:30AM.  It is being held at the Beverly Hills Country Club, 3084 Motor Ave. (at Manning Ave.), Los Angeles, 90064.  We are honored to have as our guest speaker,  A.C.Lyles, a top Paramount Pictures Producer for many years.  He has many wonderful tales to tell of Hollywood, the stars of days gone by, and their pets.  Also, for your entertainment, members of the Southern rock band Stonebreed will be performing.  There will be a raffle and an auction with many exciting gifts that have been generously donated by hotels and merchants.  Sorry, no credit cards, so be sure to bring cash or checks so that you can participate in the fun.  All proceeds will be used to provide loving care for our animals.  Tickets are $90.00, and that includes Valet parking.
