WEST HOLLYWOOD—The city of West Hollywood is prepping for the 7th Annual Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) on September 20 and 21. The festival will be held on a Saturday and a Sunday.

 

On Saturday, September 20, the SSMF will feature Jane’s Addiction, Failure, Cold War Kids, †††(Crosses) and more. On Sunday the event will feature Empire of the Sun, Mayer Hawthorne, Tove Lo, Big Freedia, etc.

 

According to the event’s page, SSMF Week’s special events and activities have yet to be announced. A press release from the City of

West Hollywood, notes the event will be a two-day street festival, full of “interactive experiences, food, beverages, and much more.”

A one-day VIP pass costs $149 and allows attendees to enter through a VIP entrance, have access a VIP lounge, backstage hospitality, private bathrooms, reserved parking, an official Sunset Strip Music Festival gift, a SSMF survival kit, and complementary non-alcoholic beverages. A two-day VIP pass costs $249.

 

An Ultimate VIP pass costs $499 and gives attendees all the perks of the VIP pass, but it also allows people to attend an exclusive Friday night Sunset Strip tribute Ceremony honoring Jane’s Addiction at the House of Blues and the it gives ticket holders access to an over-the-top Super VIP retreat with a select open bar and catered snacks. All tickets are non-refundable.

 

Sunset Boulevard will be closed to traffic between

Doheny Drive and

San Vicente Boulevard from Saturday, September 20 at 3 a.m. until Monday, September 22 at 6 a.m.
