Woman Wanted For Jewelry Theft

STUDIO CITY—The Los Angeles Police Department are searching for a  woman who is wanted for stealing a $10,000 wedding ring from a nail salon in Studio City after receiving a manicure and pedicure on June 20. At around 4 p.m., officers responded to a radio call of a theft investigation near the 12100 block of Ventura Boulevard at the Nails Spa Studio.

Footage taken from a security camera inside Nails Spa Studio shows the suspect taking the wedding ring that was on a tray. She held it in her right hand while she was paying the salon worker. She then places the ring in her purse along with the change she received from the worker.

This woman is wanted by the LAPD for stealing a ring from a nail salon.

The owner of the ring came into the salon earlier in the day for a manicure and had taken off her ring and left it on a side tray. The suspect paid for her manicure and pedicure in cash. The woman is described as an Asian woman in her mid 20s with dark hair and brown eyes. She stands around 5 feet and 5 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. She was wearing a black dress with flower design and brown wedge heels. The suspect could face grand theft charges.
