LOS ANGELES—On Monday, October 21, at 6:45 a.m. crew members brought in a 100-foot white Fir Christmas Tree, for the Groves Holiday celebration, the spirit of the Holiday will begin a month early. The 80-year-old tree arrived from Mount Shasta for the annual tree lighting event.

More than 10,000 ornaments and over 15,000 lights will be adorned on the enormous tree. The celebration for the Grove’s first holiday show will be on Sunday, November 17, at 7:30 p.m. The Santa House will be open for business on November 18.

Hanukkah will be observed at The Grove on December 29. After the holiday celebration ends, tree branches will be used for mulch, the trunk of the tree will be used for firewood, and 10 white fir trees will be planted in its place.
