HOLLYWOOD—The Multicultural Motion Pictures Association (MMPA) is set to host the 16th Annual Hollywood Celebrity Toy Drive Extravaganza on December 17 at 6 p.m. MMPA is a membership-based organization that promotes diversity in television and the cinematic arts.
According to a social media announcement, the President of MMPA Jarvee Hutchinson stated that the Toy Drive will be held at the Screen Actors Guild located on 5757 Wilshire Blvd.
All attendees are asked to bring an unwrapped toy valued at $20 or more to benefit Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, LA County Children’s Social Services, and Toys for Tots.
Green carpet arrivals will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will also include live entertainment, complimentary desserts, and raffle prizes.
The Holiday Hollywood Celebrity Toy Drive Extravaganza Facebook page announced that the MMPA co-chairs and the honorary committee, “including highly-acclaimed Actress Ellen Hollman, Academy Award Winner Viola Davis, Academy Award Nominee Samuel Jackson, Academy Award Winner Helen Mirren, Emmy Award Winner Shemar Moore and Emmy Award Winner Sofia Vergara” are joining in support of the “worthy causes for children” at the 16th Annual Hollywood Holiday Celebrity Toy Drive.
