BEVERLY HILLS—A $200,000 donation was made to the City of Beverly Hills, through the Friends of Beverly Gardens Park, by Wanda Beverly Hills Properties, LLC and the Wanda Group’s Chairman, Wang Jianlin, to help the City’s century-old park redevelop.

The Wanda Group is the largest real estate development firm in China and the world’s biggest movie theatre chain.

A ceremony will be held at the Beverly Gardens Park Lily Pond, between Beverly and Rodeo Drive to announce the donation on March 27 at 4:30 p.m. Newly elected Mayor Julian Gold and Chairman Wang will be in attendance.

The donation will be used to restore the segment of the park near Wanda’s property located on the 9900 block of Wilshire Boulevard.

Other contributors to the effort include Hershenson Investments, Steven Gordon Family Foundation, Kennedy Wilson, Lili and Jon Bosse, Larry Field, Robert Zarnegin, Geoff Palmer and Cartier.
