LOS FELIZ—Viewing parties for the broadcast of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup game will be held at 1739 Public House in Los Feliz on Thursday, June 20 and various locations throughout the Los Angeles region.

Legends Sports Bar, located on 5236 East Second Street in Long Beach, Q’s Billiard Club located on 11835 Wilshire Boulevard in Brentwood, and Underground Pub & Grill located on 1332 Hermosa Avenue in Hermosa Beach will all be hosting viewing parties for the United States women’s and men’s national soccer teams. Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy will host a watch party at Tom’s Urban at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles located on 1011 Figueroa Street in Los Angeles.

This will be the last in group play for both the United States Women’s National Soccer Team and Sweden. The winner will be the group winner and if the game ends in a tie the U.S. will win due to its goal differential.

Back on June 11, the United States defeated Thailand, 13-0 and Chile 3-0 on Sunday. Sweden’s team defeated Chile, 2-0 June 11 and Thailand’s team on June 16.

The United States will play on Sunday, June 23 regardless of Thursday’s outcome. If the U.S. ties with Sweden the U.S. will begin the knockout round against Spain’s team. If the U.S. loses the next it will be the second place team in group E the loser of the Canada-Netherlands game.

The final game will be televised in English by Fox and in Spanish by Telemundo.

FIFA Women’s World Cup is an international football competition founded in 1991 contested by the senior women’s national teams of the members Fédération Internationale de Football Association, which is the sport’s international governing body.
